The Wheels on the Bus Go...

Straight to Miss P's 2nd Birthday party! This past weekend, we hosted 73 people, ranging in age from 3 mos. to 80 years at Roach Gymnastics for our daughter's 2nd birthday, and it was awesome! I feel like this place is a local "best kept secret" of party places. It. Is. Awesome. I switched to this location last minute, and was just looking for something similar to where I had planned the party originally, and this venue was SO. MUCH. BETTER! We had 73 people, and until we were eating cake, it didn't even feel crowded. They offer bounce houses, balance beams, a rope swing, a giant trampoline, tumbling area, mini foam pit, and more. It was great for all of the kids, that ranged in age from 3 mos. to 12 years old. The staff was awesome and helped with setup, clean-up, and taking things out to our car. I can not give higher praises to this venue. If you are hosting a function with kiddos, look no further! We went with the "Wheels on the Bus" theme for...

Rainy Day Play

I have grown up in the PNW. But with a kiddo, the 50% of the year when the weather is too awful to go outside, but you need to do something to help your toddler burn off energy, has brought about a whole new perspective. Our local mall hosts a few fun places for kiddos to burn off energy, but spending money to go there a couple of times a week adds up. The Children's Museum of Tacoma  is super cool and another excellent place to take toddlers, plus it offers "pay as you will" admission, which is great, but it is about 30 minutes from our home. So, for Christmas this year, we purchased the Little Tikes Jump 'n Slide Bouncer from Amazon. This. Thing. Is. Awesome. We bought it on sale, because we don't believe in paying full price for anything, and Miss P has bounced in it almost every day since Christmas. Plus, we have hosted friends, so that their kiddos can burn off energy for free too! Win! Win! The blower that blows up the bouncer is a little noisy, sin...

Miss P is going to be...

A BIG Sister! Baby Walker #2 is scheduled to make his/her appearance at the beginning of June 2016, and we shared the news with our friends and family via our Christmas card this year. How fun! I really enjoy opening the mailbox and finding personal mail, so Christmas card season is one of my favorite times of the year, and probably the only time I check my mailbox almost daily. When it came to announcing Baby #2, I have to admit that I put a little pressure on myself, because I felt like our "We're Teeing It Up With a Third" announcement was so clever. But we didn't have this sweet and cute little face to help us announce back then, so I purchased a long sleeved gray tee from Target, whipped out my Silhouette Cameo that my hubby got me for Christmas last year, and created Miss P her very own t-shirt.  She is excited, and I think she will enjoy having a permanent playmate. Praying for a healthy and happy baby! We are blessed to have an awesome family photograp...
